Research and History of Captain John Boyd's family. John Boyd was born in approximately 1767. He died in 1805 in Bucks Co. Pennsylvania and is buried in Bensalem, PA. He married Ann Bessonet. They had 2 children - John, b. 1802 in Philadelphia and Mary Ann b. in Bristol, PA in 1803.
